Well, avacados are so-so. Fun to squish, Ezra is not sure about eating them. Super baby porridge (brown rice, water and breastmilk gruel) is a no go for now. It made him puke. Maybe he doesn't have the enzymes yet. Oops! What is super fabulous is banannas!!!!! We're taking it very slow. There's no hurry, but it sure is fun to try out new tastes.
Ezra also loves to hate Topo Chico's. (fizzy mineral water) He pulls the bottle to him, takes a sip, and makes the most hilarious face. Then he pulls it right back for more. Drinking plain water out of a glas is a pretty great time.
In other news, the Billig family got a new car! It replaced Marcela's well loved, well used 11 year old Toyota Corolla. The new ride is a 2001 Honda CRV. I feel very mom-ish, but in a cool way, I guess. It's not a mini van. It kind of feels like driving around a little bus. At least now we don't bonk Ezra's head every time we put him in the car seat.
