Our Friday evening started with Marcela doing a massage. Eric took the baby to go to the park to try out baby swings for the first time. It turns out that Ezra is turning more and more into a daredevil. When first put on the swing he was ever so slightly timid, but when the first swoosh of air went past his face he shrieked and giggled. The higher he went, the more he enjoyed it.
After swinging it was time for a rest. They headed to the coffee shop and both Daddy and Ezra got some zzzzz's on the sofa.
Then they went to pick up Mommy. After a cry upon the reunion, the family headed over to a housewarming party. We thought we were pushing it because it was getting close to bedtime. He was a little cranky.
That was, before he met Diego! Diego is a 5 year old little super star who rocked Ezra's world. He was throwing a ball outside with his father, also Eric. When Ezra saw this, he started laughing. Not just giggeling, but shrieking and laughing!!! We haven't seen anything like this. It continued for a while. After the mosquitos chased us inside, Diego and Ezra played with Dominioes.
Mostly Ezra tried ot eat them and Diego built towers for Ezra to knock over. By 9:30 Ezra turned into a pumpkin and we headed home. We're amazed at how our little baby is turning into a boy.
